Biography

After a phD thesis "Second- and Higher-order Stereology" at Aarhus University (Danemark) in 1991, I joined the MIA Department of INRA in Versailles (1991-1999), then the MIA Research Unit at Jouy-en-Josas. From 2004 to 2012, I have been the head of MathCell and AnIMod research groups.

• Analysis and modelling of the spatial organization of the cell nucleus.

I am developing the R package pgs (Precision of Geometric Sampling) which can be used to assess the precision of sampling schemes used in microscopy (serial sections, grids of quadrats, points...).
